In a trial, the jury watches and listens to the witnesses and lawyers. They listen to the people have a civil argument about the case. In this case, they're arguing over whether Honda copied a scene from "James Bond" to help sell cars in an ad. The defendant argues that James Bond was not related to the ad, and the Jury was in charge of listening to reason. After the case ended, they decided whether or not the ad copied "James Bond". They had listened to the witnesses and decided what the fate of the ad was, in this case, they said that they though the ad was in fact copying "James Bond".

During the trial simulation, the jury listens in to the conversation to see if it is a responsible case. The jury listens to the information being given by the witnesses to see if it is civil. During the trial, it was a conversation about a certain Honda commercial being a "copy" or referencing James Bond films. Each witness gave their honest and truthful point of view in the problem. The jury listened to each and everyone's response. That taught me that these kinds of problems can occur during real life trials.

I have learned that there are multiple types and divisions of courts and law. There are the US courts, like the supreme court, but there are also state specified courts such as the Florida supreme court. the trial simulation also taught me a lot about how a trial of court would work and the various jobs that people do. I learned that the role of the jury is to consider two sides of a complication and stake a verdict, A verdict is theagreement to determine justice or guilt.
