To add to his point, it is crazy how Sorkin, a man who was worried about the genius mind of Zuckerberg being given too much slack and could grow to be something harmful and David Fincher is neutral but erring on the side of having Zuckerberg's mind unchecked. Two opposite views, absolute in their differences make a product that 100% works if you watch it with the framing of Zuckerberg's story as a hero journey or if you watch it as a horror story unfolding its way off the screen.
