Esophagus (both chemical and mechanical): It carries food and liquids from the mouth and takes it to the stomach. 
Stomach(both chemical and mechanical):The stomach breaks down and digests food so that it can take out the nutrients our bodies need. 
Small intestine(chemical): 90% of digestion and food absorption happens in the small intestine. The small intestine absorbs nutrients and minerals that come from the food that was put into the body.

Once it goes through the esophagus it goes through the cardiac sphincter which then leads to the stomach. Once it hits the stomach it goes to the pyloric sphincter, then to the small intestine, then the ileoceal valve, after that it goes to the large intestine.
