         <description><![CDATA[<div>I love the gothic architecture of the Schlosskirche in Wittenberg. It's unique to the city itself and I think that is perfect. It represents the Reformation, and stands out for all to see and be reminded of what Luther did.          <title>Deutsch Architecture?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When I first saw the Napoleonic War memorial in Leipzig, my first thought was, "is this really Deutsch?" My mind wandered to thoughts of Egyptian architecture with pyramids and sphinxes. It is unique in comparison to other building structures I have seen so far in Deutschland.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Since I've been in Germany over the past three weeks, a huge difference I have noticed from America is the amount of care and prioritizing there is for recycling. The environment is respected. This photo makes me think of how green of a nation Germany is in protecting nature.          <title>If the American-South were Gothic</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Wöritz in Sachsen-Anhalt was a familiar, yet unique, experience for me. It looked a lot like the American South during it's colonial era. I saw this building and thought it was an image of a southern plantation if it had been built with Gothic architecture. Not only because it's a unique piece of art, but also because it's also helps water drain from the roof of the building. It is an example of logic and creativity meeting in the middle. I'm not sure why, but a house made out of molten lava just shows how in tough with the environment Germans have always been; even in the 18th century. When passing by this structure I thought of how the nation just kept moving forward becoming more and more modern. Dresden seemed comfortable as a modern city. Each stone represents a person murdered in the camp. It is a chilling memorial.
