         <description><![CDATA[<div>Plicker is a great way to use ICT to gather formative assessment in a fun, engaging way. You have the ability to list the students in multiple classes and send out an email to each student with a link to access the website. Plicker grades the students automatically to show you the concepts that the students are not understanding. It also provides a handout option for students who do not have access to ICT and these handouts can be re-used for multiple classes. Hybrid mode allows a mixture of electronic and handouts in the instances where some students have their laptops and others do not. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Flipgrid is a platform that can be used for individual brainstorm of ideas and opinions. Students record a video of themselves as a response to a topic and can post it to a bulletin board for their peers to view. Specifically, the 'Anti Doping' Fundamentals' provides 8 modules that covers topics from the rules of doping, supplements, consequences and doping control. It is free to sign up, and once an account is created, progress through the modules is automatically saved.<br><br>I anticipate to use this resource in a lesson regarding doping and drugs instead of using an explicit teaching style. This way, students can be in control of their own learning. </div>]]></description>
