However, I found my interest in hospitality during my university life. After I studied some contents and elements about the hospitality, I am more familiar about the departments and operation when running a hotel. For example, it includes Front desk, F&B, Reservation, Room dining, Accounting and so on. Among the departments in the hotel, I found that I am more interested in Front Desk, which I think I could learn more skills and knowledge while comparing with other department. To be specific, communication, socialization, team work, flexibility, patient, and so on. These all elements are presented in the Front Desk. In addition, my second favorite would be F&B, because it could improve my communication skills, which I think I should be improved, as well as the skill in team working, which is quite important element not only in the hospitality but also in other industry.

Solution:
Since it was in a 5-star hotel, and the food has been delivered in a long time. I will take this situation to the manager and the chef, after this, I would advice the chef to introduce the making process of the meal since it is a complicated process to make that specific meal to the customer. In this case, the customer might be more understanding. If not, I think it is an appropriate way to make a discount of the bill or to serve a specific dessert to the customer at the end in order to let the guest feel we have recognized this problem, Lastly, we should explain to the customer that we have recognized this problem and we will improve it in the future and appreciate his/her suggestion and understanding.
