Being called, "whitewashed" is always an insult, but can sometimes be insulting in a different way than you are thinking. I have heard people of other races being called whitewashed for having good dialect or manners, for dressing in nice clothes, and for the people they hang out with. Yes, the person was using that as an insult but do they not also find it insulting that they think people of other races can't do those things? Why are they making the other races seem like they can't be well put together?
