Didn't feel like colouring. Imagine diaphanous layers that are hand painted along the edges to resemble flower petals on the skirts. The bodice is sheer, like drawings by Inigo Jones, and edged in glass beads of varying colours. The short stays below the bosom are an opportunity for embellishment. The sash is pinned with a jeweled brooch just below the left breast, and buttoned with jeweled buttons on the right shoulder. Also attached below the left shoulder blade in order to spread out. The sash/cloak is painted varying shades of green and embellished with silk and velvet petals to represent Flora's natural carpet of spring. She wears a crown of gold over the spaniel curls, and the crown has a variety of coloured gemstones and an explosion of curled feathers coming out and curling back over her head. #FLRoyalFashion
