If Jacklynn had to thank her overbearing father for one thing? It’d be his love for acoustics.

The melody of metal strings singing during a hot summer afternoon never ceased to calm Jackie after a stressful morning of sermons. It was only natural that once she was big enough to actually hold a guitar properly, Jackie fell in love with the instrument and would play until her fingers became raw.  Learning guitar was one of the main ways that Jackie and Ricky bonded, but the primary reason Jackie became so passionate about it was because she wanted to spite her father's ability. Everything between them was a competition after all. But mostly, Jackie thought it was the prettiest instrument.

Now in her older age, Jacklynn's guitar playing ability is outstanding. Still devoting at least an hour a day to the hobby whenever she's able, Jackie especially fell in love with 'Ben Howard's' style of fingerpicking and has practically mastered it. What started as a competition to be better than her father later became an outlet to express and just have fun. She's learned quite a few Taylor Swift songs and has written a few of her own, but good luck getting that out of her~

Comic Books/Horror Novels:

 Reading comic books and watching horror movies have always been a temporary escape from the stress and challenges of day-to-day life for Jacklynn. Additionally, both genres often feature strong and independent characters who face their own challenges and triumph over adversity and Jacklynn can find herself relating to those concepts a lot. Plus superhero women are just.. cool- and the horror genre has always captured her interest. Some of her favorite films include: The Shinning, Get Out, Jordan Peele's Us, Hell Raiser (2022) and Silence of the Lambs. Not to mention Jackie's bedroom walls are covered in vintage thriller posters.

Photography: 

Specializing in taking photos with her Polaroid Vintage 600 Camera- there are sections of Jacklynn bedroom that are decorated with several of her favorite images she's taken. Scenes that include goofy moments with her friends to pretty scenery. Polaroid photography provides a sense of nostalgia and connection to the past which resonates deeply with Jackie since she typically works on older cars and machines. A tough nut to crack, Perez could be described as idealistic, tender-hearted, and passionate below her rocky outer shell. 

Jacklynn is a fiery and passionate woman with a no-nonsense approach to life. As a mechanic, she thrives in hands-on and practical situations where she can use her quick thinking and problem solving skills to get the job done efficiently. Her hot-headed nature sometimes causes her to speak her mind without thinking, but she means well and never intends to hurt anyone's feelings.

Beneath her tough exterior, Jacklynn has a heart of pure gold. She is deeply loyal to her friends and family and will do anything to protect and support them. Her strong sense of justice and fairness means she stands up for what she does or doesn't believe in, even if means going against the grain.

Jacklynn's passion for her work and her loved ones is unmatched even though she doesn't outwardly show it at first. Jacklynn's sarcasm and boyish behavior make her a fun and entertaining person to be around. She enjoys bantering with others and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Despite her tough exterior, she has a softer side that she only shows to those she trusts. She is empathetic and compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

They had lost count of how many days they spent scourging for food and evading the infected all while ensuring their precious daughter's safety.

But one evening, while they were out scavenging, they stumbled upon a settlement. The settlement plentiful and encased by tall log walls made of the sturdiest pine, guarded by several armed individuals- The Reeves' couple were hesitant to approach at first, but they knew they had to try for the sake of their young Andy and being starved? It was a risk they were willing to take.

As they approached, they were met by a group of the settlement people and weren't given the warmest welcome. At first the survivor groups leader had been skeptical, and very insistent on what Ryan and Kathryn could've possibly given to the community if he allowed them to stay there. Andy's father being an environmental researcher had assured that he could come up with sustainable ecological technologies to aid the settlements crop production while  Kathryn, a medic was impressed with how well equipped their medical facility was, but what they lacked was someone who could actually put those medical supplies into good use.

Through some convincing and displays of their contributions, Ryan and Kathryn Reeves were relived to finally find a place for their family. They settled into the community and quickly became an integral part of it. They made friends, contributed greatly to the settlements early development and watched their daughter grow stronger and healthier everyday without the worry of the infected taking away what was most precious to them.

However, their stay at the settlement wasn't without it's challenges. One day a group of raiders managed to breach the settlement's defenses, causing chaos and destruction and even let a few infected inside because of their carelessness.

Thanks to the settlements heavy artillery, the raiders were quickly disposed of and the walls were left with minimal damages, but one infected did slip past and managed to take a menacing bite out of Kathryn's left forearm.

Andy at age 8 was the one who had to remove her mother's infected limb before the disease could spread.

Because the settlements only medic wasn't able to preform her usual tasks, it was only fair that Andy become the next medic in training and take her mother's place.

As a child, Andy's days were filled with chores and responsibilities. Everyone in the settlement had to do their part to ensure it's continued survival and little Andy was no exception. With heavy expectations on her shoulders, Andy helped tend to the community farms, assisted with repairs around the town and was even taught basic self-defense skills by the compounds experienced fighters. 

Despite the constant threat of the undead, Andy's childhood was not without moments of joy and wonder. A black sheep amongst the children within the walls- Addison would often spend her time alone and use free time to explore the surrounding woods, always under the watchful eye of the settlement's guards. Frequently Andy would bring home what she described as 'potions' which were just mixes of random herbs and minerals she found while out and about. Not to mention bringing home a bug or two that she'd always surprise her mother with. 

As Andy grew older, she became more invested in the settlement's medical facilities. Admittedly she had always been fascinated by the human body and the ways in which it could be healed. She felt drawn to the idea of helping others in a practical way and if she wasn't exactly fit for the looting and shooting, she'd do anything to help those that went out there. With the encouragement of Kathryn and a few of other nurses in the settlement, she began training as a medic, learning basic first aid and medical procedures. 

Andy's training unfortunately wasn't easy. After having a 'run in' with her neighbors loose mutt, her left hand sustained some nerve damage which caused a tremor in her fingers and wrist. There were times when she felt overwhelmed and unsure of her abilities, but her determination and natural aptitude for the medical field kept her going. Eventually, she became a skilled and 'pretty' respected member of the settlement's medical team. 

Despite living in a world where the rules had changed and the infected lurked outside. Andy felt safe and secure within the boundaries of home. She knew that she had a purpose and a community that relied on her. She found a sense of fulfillment and belonging and that was a rare commodity in the world they lived in. Of course she was extremely grateful for it, but it'd be a crime to deny the curiosity that lurked within her?

What was out there? Was this all she was meant to be..? Since Andy had spent a large portion of her childhood getting fond with the settlements local gardens and woods. It was only a matter of time before the little critters skittering within the grass would capture her interests. Beetles, Caterpillars, ants, and especially the Lunar Moth are just a few insects that Andy has keen memory of collecting. Although in her older age she unfortunately has less time to devote to studies of herbalism and entomology,. But her love for it has never stifled. If out and about, she'll bite at any opportunity to sketch down whatever eye catching flora/insect she encounters in her trusty journal. 

While other's might view this hobby as 'wasteful', her studies have actually been useful in saving the lives of many. Insects can provide a vital source of protein and when in hard times, they've gotten a few individuals by. Not only that but certain plants she's studied could be used for medicine, food and even weapons against the undead. When medical supplies ran dry- it was Andy who helped develop new medicines with her father's help. 

Piano

When Addison first arrived at the settlement and was given a proper roof to live under with her parents, one of the most intriguing things about their lodge was that it conveniently came with a massive antique piano. 

A curious woman by nature, Andy insisted on learning how to play at a young age. Even post hand injury, Andy tried to devote her time to working around her tremor to be a better pianist. Occasionally when the settlement holds events in the town tavern, they'll request that Andy drop by and play some piano for the locals. Mainly specializing in 80's themed ballads because that's the only book she found within the piano bench seat. The local guitarists and vocalist will join in, creating a sense of careless nostalgia that sometimes irks people to forget about what they lost just for a moment.

Andy harnesses the natural ability to put others at ease with her warm and empathetic nature, making them a natural caregiver.

Despite their nurturing qualities, they have a sharp tongue and quick wit, often employing sarcasm and humor to defuse tense situations. Their sense of humor can put patients at ease and help them relax, even in lethal situations. 

Reeves' is also incredibly patient, recognizing that not everyone moves at the same pace or has the same level of understanding. Andy takes the time to explain things clearly and is willing to answer any questions, no matter how basic or complex. She's always softly spoken albeit the small amount of gravel in her tone. 

However, despite Andy's strengths, Andy can also be nervous, particularly when faced with high-stress situations or when she's unsure of her abilities. Andy is a perfectionist and strives to deliver the best possible in any scenario.  

Strengths:

1. Compassionate: Andy harnesses a deep empathy and concern for those around her which allows her to provide care with a gentle touch and a listening ear.

2. Personable: Charisma is often characterized by a friendly and engaging demeanor, which Andy possess. 

3. Flexible: Because Andy is able to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, she is able to adapt her approach to care to meet the unique needs of her peers.

4. Collaboration: In a survival situation, teamwork is crucial. A medic who is patient and collaborative can work effectively with other survivors, pooling resources and skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for everyone. 



Weaknesses: 

1. Overcommitment: Andy's nurturing personality and desire to help others may lead her to take on too many responsibilities at once, leading to burn out and exhaustion. It's not uncommon that people describe Andy as having a trivial case of 'savior complex.'

2. Avoiding Conflict: Andy's charisma and desire to be 'neutrally liked' may lead them to avoid conflict or confrontation, even when it is necessary to advocate for her patients or her own well being.

3. Perfectionism: Andy may be highly dedicated to her work as a medic and holds herself to a very high standard. That can be a positive quality. However, her perfectionism can also lead to excessive self-criticism or tendency to blame herself when things go wrong. Perfectionism is the biggest confidence killer for Andy.

4. Workaholism: Because Andy finds lots of meaning and purpose in her responsibilities, she sometimes struggles to set boundaries and make time for her own hobbies, self care, or relationships outside of work. This sometimes leads to a sense of burnout of isolation if it's gone unchecked for long enough.

5. Tremor: Damage in her left hands nerves from the dog bite she sustained as a child, Andy's hands aren't as steady as a medical professionals probably should be. Most of the time she's able to work around it but sometimes this disables her ability to remain patient and she'll often get frustrated if she's unable to work quickly enough.

Her father, Ricky, was a devout man who believed in the power of prayer and strict adherence to biblical teachings. Jacklynn's mother, Amelia, was kind and patient, and always tried to make up for the strictness of her husband by showing love and affection to Jacklynn when she was able. 

As a child, Jacklynn was a curious and lively girl who loved to explore the world around her. She was fascinated by mechanics and the natural world, and would often spend hours outside observing animals and got messy often. But her father did not approve of her curiosity, and would often scold her for asking too many questions or spending too much time exploring. Despite her father's strictness, Jacklynn remained a happy and curious child, and her mother's love and support gave her the courage to keep exploring the world around her.

However, when Jacklynn was 12, Amelia was diagnosed with a lethal, rapid Cancer. The ilness took a toll on Amelia's body and after a long and difficult battle over 4 years, she passed away. The loss of Amelia was devastating for Jacklynn, but Ricky, who had always been a stoic man- seemed to crumble after Amelia's death. He turned to alcohol to numb his pain and increasingly became distant from his daughter. Ironically enough he still was heavy on enforcing the gospel which frustrated Jacklynn beyond belief. 

In the midst of all this turmoil, Jacklynn was also struggling with her own identity. As Jacklynn grew into her teenage years, she began to question her own beliefs and her place in the world. She found herself drawn to girls, and struggled with the teachings of her father's religion that condemned homosexuality. She tried to suppress her feelings, but they only grew stronger with time.

One day, after a particularly harsh argument (The one that resulted in the scar on her nose bridge) with her father about her sexuality, Jacklynn decided to leave home a few weeks short of turning 18. She packed a bag and set out on her own, determined to find her place in the world. Having expanse knowledge in car mechanics thanks to her mother, Jackie took on many early freelance mechanic and retail jobs. She worked tirelessly for a few years until she raised enough funds to land herself in University where she studies Engineering and Mechanics.

Strengths:

Empathy: Being tender hearted means that Jackie has a strong capacity for understanding and relating to the feelings of others, making her a great listener and someone who can offer comfort and support to those in need. 

Attention to Detail: In her work as a mechanic, attention to detail is crucial for success. This means she's likely to be highly observant and meticulous in anything she does, often paying deep attention to 'the little things.' 

Wit and Humor: Her sarcastic wit and sense of humor can be a great strength in many situations, allowing her to diffuse tension, lighten the mood, and connect with others in a playful way.

Sensual: While Jackie takes a more logical approaches to everything and doesn't favor sugarcoating things. She's actually quite proficient in winning people over with her tongue. Because Jackie is so good at reading those around her, it's easy for her to figure out what people want to hear. On the flipside, if Jackie is ever in any rousing situation, she opts to use her words to string the other person along and make them crumble right where they need it. 

Independence: Being a woman in a traditionally male-dominated field may have required her to be self-reliant and confident in her abilities, which could be seen as a strength.

Weaknesses:

Difficulty Controlling Emotions: Due to her tender-hearted nature, Jackie may be more prone to strong emotional reactions and may struggle to keep her feelings in check when faced with challenging situations. This can lead to outbursts of anger or frustration that can be damaging to herself and others. 

Impulsive Behavior: Jackie's hot-headedness and tendency to act impulsively can be a blessing and a curse. Sometimes making rash decisions without thinking them through, this can result in accidents, mistakes and other negative consequences that could've been avoided with more careful consideration.  

Tendency to Push People Away: A character who's definitely partook in a few one night stands in her past- Jackie sometimes has a hard time with the concept of commitment or believes that she's undeserving of it. This can lead her to sometimes become wary of those that she keeps close. 

Doubtful: Despite her confidence and sarcastic wit, Jackie often struggles with feelings of self-doubt and insecurity. This can make it difficult for her to trust her own judgement and can lead to a lack of self assurance in her work and personal life. 

Difficulty Accepting Criticism: Because Perez is self critical, she may have a hard time accepting feedback or criticism from others. This can make it difficult for her to improve her skills and can lead to conflicts with peers.

Some of her most favorite Scoob related medias are the 1999 Witch's Ghost film along with the DC Brave & Bold Crossover movie!

- Jacklynn is a versatile mechanic and will work on just about anything with wheels. However motorcycles and modified 300zx Nissans are her least favorite to fix. There is nothing more frustrating than hearing a car guy go on a condescending rant about how his modifications are 'top notch.' Jackie obviously could beg to differ. 

- Perez is far from a picky eater, but anything with artificial cherry flavor makes her tongue churn. Her hatred for Cherry stemmed from reasons unknown, but she thinks it has something to do with consuming an absurd amount of cough drops as a child because they had nothing else better in her childhood home. 

- Jackie isn't too keen on shaving her body hair. Not to say that she's 'unhygienic', but she finds the presence of some armpit hair and a happy trail quite aesthetically pleasing. Not to mention she doesn't really have the will/time to keep up with those things anyway. While she might get some degrading comments from men, it's not who she does it for ;).

Meet Dani, a fiery spirit with an electric guitar, Joan, a rebellious soul pulsating with bass, and Cassidy, a powerhouse drummer fueled by rhythm.

Every since Dani could breathe, she'd always been captivated by the rebellious sounds of rock music, dreaming of tearing up the stage with her powerful and shredding riffs. Growing up in a household where expectations stifled creativity, she sought solace in her garage, spending endless nights strumming her guitar and crafting lyrics that spoke of defiance and liberation. At age 15, her parents had split up and this obviously caused a lot of turmoil within Daniella during her developmental years.

Dani's mother, a practical and traditional woman, had different aspirations for her daughter. She believed that success could only be found through a secure and conventional path, discouraging Dani from pursuing her artistic dreams. Their disagreements often led to heated arguments, leaving Dani feeling misunderstood and unappreciated.

But despite the strained relationship, Dani's passion burned brighter with each passing day. Determined to make her mark on the world, she quietly honed her skills, pouring her heart into writing heartfelt lyrics and melodies that reflected her inner struggles and desires. While Dani has an obnoxious amount of tattoos- The most interesting has to be the blackout tattoo that covers the entirety of her left arm and stops just above her wrist.

2. It isn't rare for Dani to go all out on 'makeup' during her performances. Taking inspiration hair metal bands and especially KISS- black and white paint is a must when she's on stage.
