         <description><![CDATA[<div>In my year-long unit, I’m inquiring into the theme Who We Are through the central idea, <strong>“Values and beliefs define individuals and communities.”&nbsp;</strong></div><div>This unit is explored through the following lines of inquiry:</div><ul><li>how self-efficacy enhances human accomplishments and well-being (function)</li><li>our independence and responsibility in physical and digital environments (connection)</li><li>the changes we go through during puberty (change)</li></ul><div><br></div><div>During this unit I am gathering evidence to showcase my understanding of the Learner Profile attributes: <strong>reflection</strong> and <strong>open minded</strong>. Take a look at the ways I have shown these and how I’ve developed my understanding of these profiles.</div><div>The<a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iPcHyP1W4vjndUtZb8kM3ZU3D9PGRqN3/view?usp=sharing"> Approaches to Learning</a> (ATLs/skills) I am developing throughout this unit are Metacognition 'thinking about thinking' and Self Management Skills 'thinking and applying our states of mind’. As this unit develops throughout the year, I will continue to build on these and other skills such as goal setting as a learner. Take a look at my learning and let me share with you what I now know how to do.&nbsp;</div><div>In my second unit, I’ve inquired into the transdisciplinary theme How the World Works.
