10th grade students create a pair role-play about someone relaxed about money and someone who loves money. Role-play was graded under a rubric based on criterion C: Speaking.

Students developed self-management, thinking, creative and communication skills, also they were open-minded and reflective.

NEE students helped the teacher to assign the most appropiate score to the plays.

10EGB Station rotation – Harry Potter Ch 1-3

The students were divided in 6 groups, to create two three-station arrangements where each station had to read only 1 chapter from the book.
Two members from each station will move to the next station, where they'll hear what they partners synthesized from the chapter they had to read.
After rotating two stations, they'll return to their original group, and will share with their partners what they learned in the other stations.

At the same time, students who stood in the stations, had to share what they read to the new guests in their stations.

To conclude, the groups had to prepare a story map to describe the first stages of the story (exposition, rising actions), as well as a brief description of the characters.

10th grade parents were told one month ago to hand write letters to their children, since we are studying happiness and fulfillment in unit 1, it was a good idea to have parents write a letter highlighting the positive characteristics of their children.

Students don’t know about this activity, so it’s a surprise for them. This is the closing part of their project. Cards will be distributed to the students between next week Thursday and Friday.
