         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Fishbowl Activity: </strong>Students form two circles: an inner circle that discusses a topic and an outer circle that listens and takes notes. After some time, the circles switch roles. This encourages attentive listening and critical thinking.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Language Games:</strong> Like Taboo or Pictionary.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Information-gap Activities:</strong> Two speakers have different bits of information and they can only complete the whole picture by sharing that information. For example, Describe and Draw or Find the differences.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Speed Dating: </strong>Students are in two lines, facing each other. They have a set amount of time to discuss a topic with the person opposite them before rotating to the next person. This allows for multiple short, intensive speaking opportunities.</p>]]></description>
