I think CNN's word choices seemed neutral and informative. They did state that "Biden hammered Trump for fomenting racial unrest." To me, using the word hammered seems kind of aggressive and like they are empowering Biden.

CNN would use quotes from the Blake family and direct quotes from Biden. I think using these quotes in their story makes Biden look more favorable. They included a quote from Jacob Blake's sister stating that Biden's visit was "really encouraging." CNN used quotes from Biden's speech at Kenosha and Pittsburg, tweets, and interviews by CNN.

I think these stories are different in many aspects. One of the differences between the stories is the focus of each story. CNN's story focuses on the Blake family more than politics while Fox News' story focuses on Biden's wrong doings more than the Blake family.

I think Fox's vocabulary choices seemed much more accusing of Biden's actions. I think the wording Fox News uses to write the article are informative and not very accusing, but its the quotes that they insert into the article that make it seem like they are trying to put Biden in a bad light. They included a quote from someone who said they voted for Obama and then said what Biden is doing seems like a publicity stunt. The quote also mentioned how Trump was at least promising money.

CNN used one photo of Biden at the beginning of the article. It was just a portrait like photo of him so it felt neutral. I think it would have been more favorable to Biden if they had used a photo of him during the event or him with the Blake family.

Fox News didn't use any photos but they did have three videos. The first video was informative and I felt like it enforced Biden because they produced quotes from Blake's lawyer and how a former Republican governor will vote for Trump. I think the other two videos were against Biden. The third video even had the host mention how he couldn't get over the fact that Biden was wearing a mask when he was socially distanced and there weren't many people there.

Fox News used quotes from specific people, but it feels as though they were trying to make it seem like the people quoted would support Biden. Instead the people bashed what Biden was doing which seems like a good tactic to make him look bad. It didn't state where the quotes came from specifically, but I would assume they were interviewed by Fox.
