Both written and oral tasks can be provided as options so that the student can participate even if he/she doesn’t speak. Also, we can assign extra homework for the child. In the homework we can ask him to send us voice recordings by email, with the approval of his/her parents.

Also, when we see some progress we can ask direct questions including his/her name. Like “X, do you have an opinion on this…”
