White (90.1%), Latinx (4.1%), American Indian (2.9%), Asian and Pacific Islander (2.1%), and Black (0.8%).
40.7% first-year, 34.2% second-year, 14.0% third-year, 9.5% fourth-year, and 1.6% fifth-year (including those in post-graduate studies) students.
largely single (61.7%), in a committed dating relationship (31.7%), or cohabiting with a romantic partner (5.3%), while 1.2% reported being married.

Data analysis: A phenomenological qualitative approach, the data were organized by the academic standing (i.e., first-year, second-year, third-year, and fourth-year and higher) of the students in order to account for any differences (e.g., all data from first-year students were in one file). Two researchers then independently coded 40 participant responses, met together to identify
