Cates Park is a place Located in North Vancouver that is perfect to go on a walk with your family, explore, go to the beach, and make memories. With all of these amazing things that Cates Park has to offer, we need to remember that there is wildlife living among, and beside us. These animals are: Wolfs, Bears, fish, birds, bugs, and much much more. Ever since Cates Park has been among us, we have been trying to keep the park safe and clean for animals to live in. But for some people it is hard to understand. These people are not only harming the park, but harming the entire echo system. What people are doing to do this is they are not recycling, they are making fires, and much more that is bad for the environment. All of these things have been slowly killing animals and us. Here are some things that can help stop killing the environment. Start recycling, stop polluting, pick up garbage that is on the floor, and don’t set any fires. All of these things have a major impact on animals and their life. If we start doing this now, we can save wildlife.

Strathcona Lookout Park, Strathcona Road, North Vancouver, BC

Strathcona lookout park is a nice peaceful beach with crabs a good view docks and really nice people and has many animals in its ecosystem. Some of with found on land can be Canadian Geese, brown and black bears, weka birds, kea birds, fan tails, and grey warblers. Humans have impacted this area in many ways but not so many negative other than what happens at every other beach and park. We can improve by having the commercial careers in the area leave more crabs but overall Strathcona is a very well kept place with a great community. An example of an abiotic part of Strathcona park would be the water because it moves the sand, makes the beach bigger and smaller, shapes rocks, creates rivers, it makes the boats float, and lets all the sea animals live.

Myrtle Park is filled with fun activities like swings, a spray park in the summer, and so much more. If you walk past the playground and into the trails you will notice all of the nature and animals in the park such as adorable squirrels, cuddly but dangerous black bears, small sparrows and so many trees! In the park the trees, rocks, water, and animals all work together to create a micro ecosystem so it’s very important that we respect the environment and try not to harm it by doing things like littering, setting fires (For some reason), or destroying the nature.

Deep cove park is a beautiful park that you can relax with food and watch a beautiful view and dock. Their are many animals that live in deep cove some of witch are black and brown bears, Canadian geese, bufflehead ducks, goldeneye ducks, sea lions, and harbour seals. Humans have mainly taken over this area with lots of shops, docks, restaurants, and paths. Humans have affected this area by littering pushing animals to the surrounding nature and chopping down many trees to make room and also the buildings. We can improve at fixing the nature area by having more clean ups for the water, having fines for littering, and not terraforming the surrounding area to make deep cove bigger.
