He was kind, strong, creative and fun! He was in the football team, and in the Theatre class with multiple if not all his friends. He was respectful to his parents, always coming home at curfew, if he's going to be late he said so and by how long exactly. If he said "Ill be home in 5 minutes" he would be home in 5 minutes or less. He had a route around town, and everyone knew about this route so they tend to call it "Tom's Loop". He meant nothing bad or harmful to anyone. Walking around town late at night, just chilling. Not breaking laws, not doing anything suspesous, nothing. They eventally break up and start heading home. A few hours later Tom's brother, woke up and noticed Tom isn't home. He immitdiatly knew somthing is wrong, so he woke up his mother. "Mom! It's 3 am and Tom isn't home. We didn't get a call, text, anything. Im going out to look for him. the rest of his family looked around town for about a hour 1/2 with many friends they contacted about Tom not being home. They looked and looked and couldn't find Tom's car. Tom's mother contacts police to report a missing person. The Police looked all around town and combed the county side in their cars and still nothing. Then they use a helicopter to look again, farther out and faster. They find Tom's Derango! It's empty. The Derango is under a tree, parked. Not crashed at all, in good shape. Dirty, but good. They immitiatly... take it back to Tom's family. Weird. After one day, they take it back to search it for evidence or any clues about tom. Not much. At this point, police brought in a dog from gerorgia to sniff out Tom's body. They find a partically buried (by nature) backpack a few miles away from where they find the Durango. It's been here for a long time. They search the backpack and find nothing to do with tom's dissapearance. They tried tracking his phone but got also nothing. Police a questioning many many people about tom. His Family, his friends, the highschool, you name it. They do come across that he might be gay, and might be hiding somewhere. They are irrtarigating people, trying to scare them to admit to somthing useful or keep from hiding anything. The Sherrif, Officer Lewis is focused on the rumor that Tom ran away to Colorado with a older man in a sexual relationship, or that he is involved with a Homosexual sex ring. They aren't doing their jobs correctly. Putting evidence back with the family way too soon, following people for months, not getting anywhere within 2 years of Toms dissapearace. Everyone is now thinking Officer Lewis is involved with Tom's disappearnce because he is doing more harm than good. He is not fully answering questions given to him about tom, etc. He did scold Tom and his friends when they were out and about downtown walking, late at night. Not listening to anyone who claims to have information about tom, and only getting mad at the private invesigator for making more pogress than him. Clyne (the Invesitgator Penny hired) suspects that Officer Lewis is hiding something about tom. Penny, Tom's mother, didn't pass her test. Everyone else did, but her. They talked to her, told her she failed, didn't say which question she failed. There could possibly be a key there missing. They asked the parents "If Tom isn't with us anymore, what do you think happend to him?" Penny, she answered almsot too quickley mentioning suiside. Susiside is know with their family and not a new branch to their tree. They've had multiple family members who were successful. She says that he possibly had a depressive episode while on his way home and may have committed suside. Police did not take this lightly purely of how fast and detailed she answer was. He had some strange answers to his questions and becoming more and more suspecting about toms case. He is refusing to take a polygraph test, for anxiety, he did scold him that night, and is seeming to hide something. He is getting know-where with the case 2 years in, and only looking into ridiculas rumors that are obviously not true. Such as Tom was taken by a biker gang, he ran away with a older man to colorando ina homosexual relationship, tom was human-trafficed, not really looking at evidence and turning back evidence too early where it could be contaminated and missing up everything. Police looked at it and found again, practically nothing other than the fact that the skull belonged to Tom Brown. At least at this point, we know that tom is gone. Along with the skull was a few bones, but not enough of his body was enough to tell what exactly happend to him, his time or cause og death. Investigator Clyde has came up with a story of what happend to tom, and so far, personally, makes the most amount of sense. He says that Tom was drving home and realized that he still had 20 minutes to be home, so he met up with some friends at the school football feild parking lot. They were playing around and someone eventually pulled at a armed gun, not knowing it was loaded, and was playing around with it and accidentally shot tom, instantly killing him. This kid was freaking out, calling a adult or their parent or toms parents, and the adult they contected called the police. I think that one of Tom's friends accidentally shot tom and panicked and called Penny, she called Police, Officer Lewis and Officer Lewish told her to cover it up. I think that Officer lewis relased evidence too early because he already knew what happend, he threw the phone into the feild right before more police came to look for possible evidence. I don't know which of his friends accidentally shot him but I do know that no one intentally was trying to hurt tom. There isn't a killer on the loose, I believe that someone now is tramuatized by their own actions and personally taking fulll action of what they did.
