For the time being, media has been always playing an important role in human’s life by creating community, shape people's opinions, bring about a greater awareness,… Besides its advantages the media might bring, there are some serious disadvantages of the media that people need to know and be aware of them. Firstly, mass media might is a source of violent scenes. There are many violent scenes are showing in public and even being praised for such as game advertises in order to attract people to play it, espcecially teenagers. Secondly, media encourage an immoral conduct of nosing into others’ privacy. This can be seen in many interviews, reports that infrige celebrities’ private lives or even ordinary individual one when viewers tend to be interested in those interviews, other’s privacy. Thirdly, media can easily have bad influences on young aldults, espcecially teenagers by misleading adverts. Since youngsters are usually impulsive, they are constantly tricked by advertisements in all forms of media, These kinds of media make them believe and purchase unnecessary products, which leads to a vast waste of money. In conclusion, media have both its advantges and disadvantages, people should be aware of them.

However, some argue that the media has various negative impacts on youngsters. From my perspective, I firmly subscribe to this opinion for the following reasons. Firstly, becoming a source of gruesome reports and bad news, the mass media takes a heavy toll on teenagers’ mental health. Life with its responsibilities is stressful enough as it is, and learning more negative things that go on, such as the appalling state of pollution and gloomy economic outlooks, makes us even more stressed out and pessimistic, which in serious cases could result in depression. Secondly, the media platform causes detriment to young people's physical health. For example, the availability of adult-only videos and sexually explicit pictures on media platforms contributes greatly to the increase in teenage sexual activities and the abortion rate, which are seriously harmful to their bodies. Moreover, teenagers are constantly tricked by advertisements in all forms of media. Knowing that they are often impulsive and easily influenced, most advertisers use tricks and catchy slogans to persuade young people to purchase unnecessary products or spend hours practicing some new ways of keeping fit, which leads to a vast waste of time and money. In conclusion, I am convinced that the media, to some extent, has several negative influences on young people such as their mental and physical health.

Nowadays, many youngster addited to social media, where can share everything with their friends they add or famous singers they admire and I think it is a negative impacts on themself because not everyone can resist the temptation of it. For example, the younger generation idolize media and sport celebrities although they are not perfect role models to follow. They show a propensity for copying what those stars say or do, even if these actions go against the cultural values of some localities. Some students have played truant to go to their idols' music concert for many times and it is unacceptable. The younger generation reverence for celebrities in the fields of entertainment would possibly cause a detriment to social security under certain circumstances. To sum up, media have more negative effect to youngster than its' benifits so they should not aware the medias' drawbacks and donnot exposed too much.
