Recently, I have been researching about Singapore before 1819 and have found many historical sources that told me about Singapore during that time. I have found artifacts from countries like China and Java that told me about their connections with Singapore. Countries like China traded items like porcelain cup, bowls etc. and other countries like Java traded items like gold jewelry. Singapore had been a well known trading port back then.
