Did you know that Singapore used to be a busy trading port? Recently, I have been researching about Singapore before 1819 and have found many historical sources that told me about Singapore during that time. I have found artifacts from countries like China and Java that told me about their connections with Singapore. Countries like China traded items like porcelain cup, bowls etc. and other countries like Java traded items like gold jewelry. Singapore had been a well known trading port back then. At the end of my research i learnt that Singapore was an amazing and busy trading port before 1819.
