had a different view on problems, especially on the environmental basis. Bush
began his administration by appointing William Reilly as the administrator of
the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Bush tried to please the citizens of the United States by adding new
acts as well as improving previous ones such as the Clean Air Act of 1990.

The reason we chose this book to cite is because it has a lot of good information about George H. Bush and what he did for the U.S from 1989-1993. The main events in this book are about his background, personal life, and foreign affairs. It also gives great information
on the vice president during the time and his love for family.

the discrimination of the disabled in the workplace or public areas. Therefore,
I felt it essential to revise such an act that provided legal relief to
disabled Americans.

Interviewer: What series of events led you to launch the invasion of Panama in 1989

Bush: Well, I did that to protect our ally Saudi Arabia as
well as to prevent Saddam Husain from obtaining the majority of the world’s oil
reserves
