The mangroves food web is not really complicated the mangrove feeds off of the sun, the bacteria and algae feed off of the sun and mangrove, the mangrove snail feeds off of the bacteria and algae/mangrove, the fish feeds off of the bacteria algae, prawn and worms, the crab feeds off of the mangrove, the eel feeds off of the worms, fish, prawn and crab, the water bird feeds off of the mangrove snail, the crab, the eel, the worms and the fish, the worms feed off of the leaf litter and the bacteria and algae from decomposing animal carcasses. All those that were listed are the organisms found around or in the mangroves they all produce off of each other or some produce off of the mangrove the process of all this consuming and producing and decomposing is pretty cool once you learn about it and pay attention too it.

The mangroves water contains crabs, jellyfish, and juvenile snappers, jacks, red drums and sea trout all live in the cool part at the bottom of the mangrove. The mangroves are fragile complex and dynamic ecosystem and are dependent on the inter-related, environment both, biotic and abiotic factors its climatic factors are rainfall and wind.

Mangroves protect shorelines from damaging storms and hurricane winds, waves, and floods. Mangroves also help prevent erosion by stabilizing sediments with their tangled root systems. They maintain water quality and clarity, filtering pollutants and trapping sediments originating from land. Mangroves are also important because they support threatened and endangered species.

Threats to the mangrove are bad they are threatening to cut mangrove forests down because their "unproductive" and "smelly" but they protect the organisms that live there they give them food and let them reproduce they also protect them from strong hurricane winds. Mangroves have become endangered because of people cutting them down but little do they know their cutting down the most important reproductive system in the world.
