Over the last 23 years, they have developed and have over 25 locations across the United States. They seek to reduce the effects of asthma through goals such as, reducing the number of deaths, hospitalizations, and emergency room visits and to remove daily limitations that asthma can cause. "The CDC seeks to address the intersection of health care and public health through funding state programs and national organizations" (CDC, 2022). These programs have brought great education surrounding the quality of care, management, and policies surrounding asthma.
