One of the things I struggle with practically, is the interface between governance and management. E.g. From experience serving on, or as the secretariat for, Steering Committees, Steering Committees sometimes seem to have insufficient information to meaningfully oversee or guide programs and projects. While this information seems to be held by management, there can be an unwillingness to expose issues that would benefit from steering committee debate or options analysis.

Can you think of any references, articles etc. that help to unpack and resolve these issues?

Thanks, Evette
