An example of Active Learning is Peer Teaching. Earlier this week in my Human Development class the teacher broke us down into groups. Once in groups the members were responisble for gathering information about a specific and presenting that information to the class.

Another example of Active Learning is class discusions. In many of my Upper division history courses we had specific days dedicated to class discussion.

An example of Constructive Learning is Experimentation. Every week in my Geology class there's a lab that accompanies each lecture.

Research assignments are also examples of Constructive Learning. For instance in my International Studies class I did a research paper on Human Trafficking and everything I learn during the course of my research was self taught.

An example of Intentional learning is last week in my SPED 2000 class at the beginning our instuctor informed us that we would have a quiz over the lesson at the end of class. Knowing that I would be tested over the material it made me more motivated to retain the infrormation I learned from that lecture.

Another example of intentional learning is any time an incentive is offered. Such as if every student recieves above an 80% on the test they will recieve 5 bonus points on their final.

Authentic Learning can be seen used in the education department regurlarly. In many of the classes I take the instructors usually say terms such as in a classroom setting or Once u become a teacher. Everything that is presented to us is in our classes a real life senerio.

Another example of Authentic Learning is back in high school when I took Lifetime Development. We were assigned fake babies that would realisticly cry.
