  •  Taking too much of any drug is called an overdose.
  •  Drinking too much alcohol can lead to alcohol poisoning and liver failure, which can kill you. 
  • Some drugs can make you feel better. Some drugs can make you high, drunk, sleepy. Cigarettes can cause cancer and other breathing problems , like emphysema.

Some drugs that are stimulants can cause blood pressure to be elevated which can make a blood vessel rupture in the brain and cause brain damage. A person can have a heart attack because the heart is working so hard .     The National Suicide Prevention Line 1-800 -273- TALK can connect people in need of help with drug and alcohol abuse.
