The problem in this case study is gender stereotypes. Matt is obscuring Bills classroom and when bill has his students play a game they choose girls vs boys. Matt notices this and takes notes that its gender stereotypes. Bill gets upset that Matt is only focusing on that.

Some possible challenges that occur in this case study are gender stereotypes. Bill allowed his students to choose their teams based off gender which leaded them to mocking each other because the girls were winning but they boys said they were just getting them win. This can lead to gender stereotyping within the school itself.

A long term policy and practice adjustment could be not having the students pick the teams based off gender. Bill is a veteran teacher and may have an older style of teaching compared to Matt who may be younger and has more experience with how society is changing. Bill didn't see that the boys vs girls was an issue because the students were still learning. Bill can have the students still play the game for review but don't use genders for teams. This can help the school as a whole if all teachers implement this so the students aren't subconsciously learning gender stereotypes.
