  1. Stand up- All students stand up at their desk

  2. Hand up- Each student raises their hand to indicate they are looking for a partner

  3. Pair up- Students walk around the room and find a partner by giving a high- five or fist bump. Once paired, they lower their hands and get ready for the next step.
