According to Father Elmer's homily during the blessing on Palm Sunday, they are not blessing the palm leave but instead the people handling it. And as to our belief that Palm leaves are protection from lighting but in reality, this is placed in the door to welcome our Lord God in our home.

I've learned now that Presence is very important especially when the person you love is far away from you. Yes, the presence is challenging but it is one of the things that makes a relationship work. Of course the presence of the lord. Also, We know that presence is the greatest gift we can give to others, especially to our loved ones "Our Family" who are far away from us.

Today, I've learned to strengthen myself even more in the face of any life obstacle. I'm supposed to assist mom in teaching my younger brother in his modules. I'm not just a girl who everyone thinks can handle anything; I'm just a weak woman who strengthens herself every day. But as the days went by, I grew stronger and more prepared to face the challenge. Of course, I took strength from prayer as well, asking God to give me more courage in each challenge I faced. My mother is not just my pillar of strength, but also my hero. She's always telling me that I have to be strong at all times, that even when I'm tired, I have to be strong. God, Prayers, and Mom are my strength.

This homily has been a little long, but it has a lot of meaning to me today. According to Father Marvin's homily, no matter what sin you or I do, God will not condemn you, but he will not let you commit that sin again, instead of asking you to stop from doing it again.

I'd want to share my own experience with you. I used to anticipate the things I want, as well as the ideal partner I desired. Until I discover that the more you expect in life, or from someone you romanticize, the less you will not receive. When you expect anything like that, I've noticed that things seem to become further away from you, or your ideal partner seems to disappear. Expecting someone or anything can be painful. As a result, I waited and didn't expect it. And then there's the thing I'm looking for, as well as my ideal partner. I still can't believe that this unexpected partner came to me, as well as unexpected things that happened that we never intended to happen. Still, I'm thankful because I didn't neglect my studies even though I had him.

Today's experience. I had another encounter with the four of us bonding. We rarely get along because I become hot-headed due to tiredness and a busy schedule. But I continue to be glad since my siblings, mom and I get along well. Also, I am grateful to my mother, who taught us to appreciate our brothers and sisters by teaching us to contribute and not to fight when there is food or anything else. Mom does not tolerate us for our faults because she does not want us to repeat them when we get older. Mom will not teach us disrespectful behavior to your relatives or other people. I admire all parents who are involved in their children's future.
