Examples:

The Good Samaritan

Summary: Jesus was trying to teach that you should love your neighbour and to treat them as you would like to be treated. Even though you may have differences and may sometimes not get along, you should be kind and treat others as though they are a member of your family.

The Story of Zacchaeus (Tax Collector)

Summary: Zacchaeus was the top tax collector in Jericho, however not known as a good person and took a lot from the poor. When Jesus visited his town he climbed a sycamore tree to see Him. Jesus requested to see his home, where he gave away half of everything he owned. Zacchaeus was treated with dignity by Jesus, despite his past, which affected his attitude going forward.

The Woman Caught in Adultery

Summary: A woman caught in adultery is brought before Jesus. Her accusers want him to condemn her according to the law. Jesus, however, challenges them and ultimately tells the woman, "Go and sin no more." This story emphasizes that people who make mistakes are not defined by those mistakes and deserve a second chance.

But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” This verse can be related to financial freedom, where if you have been blessed in a way where you are financially privileged, you should use that to help and serve others.

GALATIANS 6:2

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Life is extremely difficult without anyone to support you, provide support for others at every opportunity.

MATTHEW 5:42

“Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.” When you are called to help others, do it, do not procrastinate or overthink your decision because to lend help to those who have asked is never wrong.

PROVERBS 3:27

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.” Even though no one person can solve all the problems of the world, working as hard as you can to help those around you is always worth it and right.
