         <description><![CDATA[<div>AWS is a leading IoT business. Their popular Alexa device is an example of an IoT device. It has the ability to interface with a variety of other "smart" devices like your TV or home security system. The opportunity for these devices to interact with other devices is ever-increasing. <br><br><strong>Impact on Cybersecurity:<br></strong>The increasing&nbsp;connectedness of devices leads to a bit of a mess for cybersecurity. Each new device an existing device is able to interface with creates a new set of vectors which can be exploited. No two devices use the same tech or are created with the same security standards. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hackers were able to access home security camera streams due to weak password requirements. Password tables are frequently shared on the dark web and hackers can try these on a variety of services to see if they can gain access. This can typically be prevented by using password best practices—not using the same passwords for multiple services. Also software that locks an account after too many failed attempts can mitigate these issues.</div>]]></description>
