Collaboration is essential for students' success both inside and outside of the classroom. Students must be able to use various skills to work together in different kinds of groups in order to further learning not only for themselves, but others also. This learning should also be presented to others. In today's society, students can collaborate and present their learning with other students all over the globe.

Andrade (2016) state that "the flipped classroom, course redesign, and high impact practices" are all components of "self-regulated learning" and can "increase learner responsibility for the achievement of desired higher education outcomes--21stcentury skills for a global world."
The TECHformational Matrices aim to show how the utilization of multiple kinds of technology can further students' knowledge and learning. The TECHformational Matrices aim to show teachers that using technology does not necessarily mean students are learning better than with traditional learning methods. They show how to use technology to conform, outform, reform, and transform in regards to traditional learning.

REFERENCES:

Andrade, M. S. (2016).
Reactions and Reflections

One of the most important parts of both the teaching and learning processes is being able to effectively reflect on the learning that has (or hasn't) taken place. The textbook suggests recording reactions and reflections at the end of a unit to be able to go back when planning for the next year and see what worked and what didn't. Simply thinking about the unit and changing nothing is not useful at all to the learning process. The reactions and reflections must be written somewhere to be able to be used and improve future learning.
