The book has very diverse and emotional characters that make the impact of the deaths greater. Every set place I feel was described so vividly. I felt I was there to witness the whole thing. Not only that but this book makes everything so relatable. Even if you’re not in a gang, live in the hood, or go off drinking and fighting every night; there are parts of the story that anyone could relate to. Although with every great book there are flaws. I feel like the story was driven recklessly and could have had a more focused narrative. But overall there are not very many books that peak my interest, and this one so happened to so I would give it a 8/10 would read again.
