The song shows that even though you will face multiple obstacles you will somehow over come them. Ponyboy and the gang had faced challenges but they had always overcome them together even if they had lost they went right back to overcome them. There will always be something on the other side and they need to just keep moving forward.

Theme: Be loyal to your family and friends

I got loyalty, got royalty inside my dna

I chose this song because it talks about loyalty and royalty. I felt that the loyalty represented what the greasers had, and the royalty part is what the greasers have. Ponyboy and Johnny showed royalty by saving the kids from the fire in the church.

In the song, Joan Jett expresses that falling in love is more important than her love of Rock & Roll.
