  • Teachers are not required to provide make-up work to students absent for unlawful reason, but may do so at their discretion and in accordance with their school’s established procedures.
  • During the past 2 school years, all departments opted to use the 50-point grading scale, so that will once again be adopted. Any teacher anticipating the need to use the 100-point grading scale should notify their department chair by August 28.
  • It is recommended that teachers update grades in the online gradebook once per week at a minimum, but no less than every two weeks.

    Academic dishonesty is NOT tolerated. This includes:

    • Copying work that is not yours
    • Allowing someone to copy your work
    • Plagiarism (presenting someone else’s words OR ideas as your own)
    • Using apps or websites to complete work that is intended to be done independently 
    • Sharing assignments or assessment questions
    • Any assignment completed using any form of academic dishonesty will receive a ZERO.

    Less emphasis on SLO when determining teacher rating.
