         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Teachers are not required to provide make-up work to students absent for unlawful reason, but may do so at their discretion and in accordance with their school’s established procedures.</li><li>During the past 2 school years, all departments opted to use the 50-point grading scale, so that will once again be adopted.
