It began after the British Enclosure act which didn't allow peasants to use formerly public lands so that way they were pushed to work in factories. The six major innovations were the steam engine, Spinning Jenny, Cotton Gin, Bessemer process, smallpox vaccine, bacteria and pasteurization. They were made by James Watts, James Hargreaves, Eli Whitney, Henry Bessemer,Edward Jenner, and Louis Pasteur.
