And even before having an English class I didn’t consider myself as a person of creativity. I express my creative thinking in English through my work of literature.I am very creative in my thinking in English class because I explore different ideas and take risks. I brainstorm and create bubble maps when I do my creative thinking to organize my thoughts and to help me sucede into creating my ideas. In this skill I have the ability to think and to teach others to experience and express their creative thinking as well and to open new door with that.  This will help others as well as myself when taking AP classes and honors courses because it will help you use creative thinking to guided inspiration.

In math class I use my critical thinking to complete and be successful in jigsaws that I know will further my understandings. Although math isn’t my strongest suit I still encourage myself to learn hard, be a fighter, and use my critical thinking to teach others what I know. Although I like to challenge myself academically I still sometimes push back and block my critical thinking mode a bit. I do this because I’m afraid of failing and disappointing others. But I do challenge myself to take honors level classes and AP courses. I know that if I continue to use my critical thinking skills I will be very successful in medical school where I will pursue my dreams.

When I do current events in civics class I have the ability to make very good connections about these events to myself, the world, and my community. And I also have the understanding and ability to know how we can use the things we learn in our civics class in any situation. I am a master in this skill because I can make connections to my learning in my classes to different situations. I will continue to use my transferable thinking to help me problem solve when I am in need to help with obstacles in my honors course and AP classes.

I use this calendar to help me plan out my day so that I can use my time in a beneficial way especially towards finals week. I also use my self management skills to use my tutorial time wisely in AVID to simply just clear something that I am confused about in my courses or anything that I need clarifying on. I know when I should be serious in my work and when it okay to goof around with my friends. I don’t always use my time wisely when I know I should. But I do my best to be very focused and try to get the best of out my time. I will use this skill to help me be successful in turning my assignments on time.

For example when my grade in math goes from a B+ to a C I know how I should improve my grade. I know that I should talk to my teacher about a retake I also know what to do so that I can earn that retake and how I can come to an agreement with my teacher for a time to retake. I know how to identify whether I should do something different that i didn’t do the first time. I have the knowledge to identify what I did wrong and how I can improve. I will use this skill in the future when I have bigger responsibilities like paying my taxes and paying bills to help me know if I do adulting get right.

I make sure I have a binder to be able to hang on to any important handouts like study guides and cornell notes. I come to school with highlighters and pencils to help me jot down important information and to be able to complete any assignments. I come to prepared with all the supplies I need to take on any academic challenges.

Using this skill I have grown my character because I have learned to be more educated on my choices and to think about the consequences and affects my decisions will have. I will use this skill to help me make decisions about colleges I want to attend in the near future.
