The set looks really appealing and it looks like they thought about it a lot, even though it’s very simple. Also it's very creative because most of the props which make up the set are hand-made such as the tree, flowers, clouds and the picture frames. They all are designed with bright colours which makes the music video have a happy tone.

The camera didn’t move from it’s position but the sets were changed by different people wearing black clothes. The camera angles changed when someone would simply walk closer to the camera.

I think that the music video is very effective because the set is very intriguing and it’s very clever how they do scene changes because it works very well all in one take.

When the main singer is closer to the camera (mid shot), the people behind are doing quite simple and well-known dance moves. If they changed a few of them i think that it would look quite professional.

The clothing works very well because in the scene changes, they quickly take off the main singers dress/shirt. The outfits are quite girly and casual which suits the style of the song.

All the things that happen in the music video are over exaggerated but it makes the meaning behind the music video very clear.

As a pop music video I think it works very well because the whole set of the music video fits with the genre. The use of bright colours and the unrealistic look makes it seems like an adult singer who is quite girly made this video which fits with the meaning of the song which is about love.

The lip singing in this video is also very good as the singers lips seem to be in time with the song throughout the entire music video. Also she doesn't over exaggerate the words, but mimes them enough to look like she is actually singing.

The camera is not wide screen which loses the effect that it is a music video. Also it seems like it’s filmed on a phone due to the shaky shots and blurred shots.

The music video is mostly filmed at a club which doesn’t seem like it required any effort because they simply walked into a club and started filming.

The influence of alcohol is not a very good image for people when they watch the music video. Even though this may be aimed at young adults, it will influence drinking, but overall it doesn’t make the music video very entertaining or fun.

The camera angles don’t vary that much in scenes. Near the start when the male is singing on his own for the first time, the camera doesn’t change or move. It’s filmed as a high angle shot on the corner which doesn’t fit the music and it doesn’t look very professional.

The clothes are chosen well for the storyline of the music video, but overall I don’t think the storyline was a good idea anyway. The three males are wearing clothes which you would expect people to wear at a club (smart casual) but it doesn’t look very appealing in the video.

The scene which is filmed in a club fits well with the music because it comes in at a point where the music becomes more upbeat. A stereotypical nightclub would have upbeat music playing and I think it fits well with the music at that point.

When the male is singing on this own, it has an effect which pulls everything into the centre of the frame. This doesn’t make it look very professional because it actually looks quite comical. This is because it pulls the boys of the singer to make it look very abstract.

The establishing shots at the start introduces the location well as it has different camera angles and quick scene changes which makes it quite exciting and not even the singer has started singing.

The location is a good place for the song because the atmosphere of the song is quite relaxing and has a happy tone. However, it doesn't change as it's aways on the beach which can overall make it seem quite boring as nothing really changes.

A disadvantage I would say is that the outfit doesn’t fit with the singer. This is because I wouldn’t expect for someone to wear this for a pop song genre because it’s too casual and not very smart.

The editing and scene changes are very smooth in the music video and there are quick scene changes, which fits with the beat of the song. This keeps it interesting as it doesn’t have slow shots which can get boring. Also this means that there are lot of different camera angles used such as low angle and mid-shot.

The text that appears on the song is the lyrics of what the singer has just sung. This person has challenged codes and conventions because not may music videos does this. However it looks effective because it's only done a few times on the most important parts of the lyrics.

When the singer is walking across the beach, the camera movement gets quite shaky. The rest of the video isn't like this but it does let it down a bit as it loses the professional quality.

When the camera is doing a tracking shot of the singer, they've kept the same came angle which is a low angle. As they use the tracking shot quite a bit in the music video, I think it would be better to change the angle. A suggestion would be to use a tracking shot on a side angle. Also they could use a midshot for example instead of a close up.

The lip singing has been done to a very good standard and the singer is very passionate about the song which makes it seem very realistic. Also the singers attitude is just right for the music as it seems like she wrote the singer and how the emotion for it. Overall this makes the music video quite believable because the singer is having a good time and so should the audience.
