its not about the tool connects to what we read and learned in the way that its not the technology but more of how it is applied, what stratagies of engagement is applied with, and the forms of applications and methods using technology.

From the last reading I learned that "It's not about the tool" means that it is not necessarily about the time spent on technology or the type of technology used, but more about the educational uses that are used when students use technology. This puts emphasis on how teachers are using technology and the importance of choosing appropriate programs to help students learn.

This means that the individual tool isn't what makes a big difference in the classroom. It is about how the tool is used and how it benefits students. Different schools have different resources and tools. Just because one school has more advanced tools doesn't necessarily mean that those students are getting a better education, it might just be easier for the teachers.

You can even repurpose software not intended for education and turn it into something beneficial for your students. It is also how students and teachers use the tools that will make a difference. Whether that be individually or collaboratively.

It's not about the tool means that you can foster learning in whichever way you'd like, but the "tool" does not exactly matter, it is the way that you prepare the students to apply their knowledge.
