If you are having trouble writing 8+ sentences, try answering these questions about your topic:

What is it about?

What type or genre is it?

Is it popular or popular with people who are interested in a certain topic?

What are 3 things you like about it?

What is its history?

What is the context around it?

(I tried making these general enough to fit any topic, but you might have to tweak the questions to make them fit your topic.)
