I am currently a student at CSUF and I am pursuing a degree in English literature. I am taking prerequisite courses for the credential program so that I can teach English in secondary schools. Reading and writing have always been my greatest passions. They help us to connect with other human beings, the world, and ourselves. My goal is to show this to students so that they can get the same benefits from it that I have.

In the little free time I have, I love to read (I did mention that reading is my passion right?). I read a lot of sci-fi, fantasy and sword and sorcery books. currently I'm reading the "Wheel of Time" series by Robert Jordan. It is amazing! the story itself is so compelling, but what has really captured me about this series is that he really gets into the human aspect of the story. Each character in the stories is incredibly deep, complex, and human.
