He makes friends with people at the camp and soon the maze opens. Mostly everybody goes in and try to find an exit, little do they know there are huge spider-like monsters that are lurking there. They end up going back to the camp and realize they attracted the monsters back. Soon enough the monsters are destroying the village and are killing people. The group left go back in the maze and finally escape there.
