If some of those countries couldn't pay Chinese loans back, it means China has the right to take a control of those buildings for their own gain, instead for demanding their money back. Since 2008 (Financial Crisis), the Chinese value has almost permanently reduced from 8 yuan, peng to the dollar, to 6 yuan. By this way, the Chinese value seems more attractive for developing countries, and even industrialized countries. The less value of Yuan, the less money to pay back.
