📝 Retell the story in your own way!

Choose ONE of the following:

1. 🎤 Make a short video:

Tell the story using your own words.

Example: “First, they went to the living room. There was a sofa and a TV…”

2. 🎨 Draw and write:

Draw 3 rooms from the story.

Write one sentence for each room.

Example:

“This is the kitchen. It has a fridge and a stove.”

3. 🖊️ Write a short paragraph (3–5 sentences):

What rooms did you see in the story?

What did you find in each room?

Which room is your favorite?

What room do you like the most in your home? Why?

Write one sentence or say it in your video.

✨ Let’s be creative and have some fun!

🔹 Task:

Choose one room from the house (living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, or toilet).

Draw or design your dream version of that room. Add some of the furniture and objects we learned (like: bed, sofa, fridge, TV, lamp...).

🔹 Then:

Make a short video (1–2 minutes) showing your drawing and talking about it in English.

Here’s an example:

> “This is my dream living room.

There is a big sofa and a purple carpet.

There are two lamps and a big TV. I love it!”

🔹 Extra tips:

Use colors, stickers, or even LEGO or blocks to make it more fun!

Ask your parents or siblings to help you film the video.

Be creative and enjoy it!

1. Who were the characters in the story?

2. What did the children do with the colors?

3. What happened when they mixed red and yellow?

4. What did they learn about mixing colors?

5. How did the story end?

My apologies for no record today, for some reason i have Internet problem. But in general during today’s session, we reviewed and practiced new vocabulary, including: fail, pass, take, lose, miss, study, and teach. The students learned how to use these words correctly in different contexts, and I was pleased to see good engagement and participation from everyone.

Homework:

1. Complete questions 5, 6, 7, and 8 in the attached slide.

2. Record a separate video where they fill in the blanks with the correct words from the given list.

3. Reminder: I Uploaded a quiz for Mid August, please go over the quiz upload the answers.
