Typically students say at the time, and come back to say that my class was the hardest class they ever took, but they learned and in the end they were glad they took the course. One of my former students became a nuclear engineer and came back to tell me of all the things I taught him, that problem solving skills and setting up problems to track units in a clear and coherent manner was most useful to him in his upper level courses. Go (significant) figure!
