Open onto a dance in the forest 

Its being held by who people must consider royalty 

Led Zedick 

Kyra Neverborn Dances with him

Its heavily awkward considering less than a month it would have been far more than platonic 

Kyra and Zedick have known eachother since childhood 

Zedick dips Kyra 

He injects a syringe into her side 

And it fades to black

Kyra is young looking, she has bangs that almost cover both her eyes, she has one of her front teeth missing she’s optimistic 

A chest glows in the darkness 

A young Kyra runs up to it 

She reads the carving on the top

Each letter is spaced out

Kyra thinks

Kyra: KYRA NEVERBORN IS N E V E R B O R E D 

She takes a dusty scarf and old goggle with a small crack in the left eye out 

She puts them on, they are very oversized 

Kyra: HEY ZEDICK LOOK WHAT I FOUND 

10 years old 

Kyra is starting to grow into the scarf and goggles 

Nodia: hey um... I like your goggles, they were your dads right?

Kyra looks visibly confused she laughs anxiously 

Kyra: um.. I found em’ in a chest when I was younger 

Nodia: yeah a chest marked Neverbored

 Kyra laughs again-very anxiously 

Kyra: u-um yeah how’d you know that 

Nodia:  it’s in this book, it’s all about Elijah Mikah Neverborn; he was an aviator and had a child named Kyra

Noida is noticeably sassy 

Kyra: WOOOOOW I WANNA READ IT!!!!!

It scans to zedick who is clearly annoyed by Nodia who took his spot with Kyra 

Kyra wakes up, the surface beneath them feeling uncomfortable yet familiar

Kyra: woah...WOAH 

Kyra looks around 

they knows this place

Kyra: wait is this where I grew up 

Kyra then realizes their talking to themself like a weirdo    

Kyra: now that  take a good look at it 

Kyra looks at the hard stone paved floor and broken glass on the floor 

Kyra: this...this was not the best 

they gets up being careful of the glass 

They starts to lose their  balance 

Kyra: W-Woah, what the hell happened 

Kyra falls onto the floor

NOIDA THEN BURST THRU THE WINDOW  

A small white cat looks shocked and slowly strolls in after 

Nodia: Hey there Fox 

Nodia loses her balance from the impact of fall  she falls into Kyras arms 

Kyra: hey there...um-what the hell 

Nodia: well, last night I saw Zedick carry you from the party, you looked sick as a dog 

...woof

Kyra tries to remember the incident, nothing comes to mind 

But that would explain why they're here 

Nodia: welp...we should probably go, i’ve got an adventure for us 

Noida points out the window, suggesting they leave how she entered 

Kyra: i'm always up for-

Kyra slips the goggles on their head 

Kyra: ADVENTURE!!!
