Title of Activity: Painting with Cars

Description of Activity: Set up a table where the child(ren) can paint. You will need construction paper (or normal paper is fine too!), non-toxic paint, and small toy cars for each child. Be sure to have a variety of paint colours which the children can use! Let the child choose which colour(s) they would like on their paper and place a few droplets of the paint on their page in various spaces on the page. Let the child(ren) use the toy car(s) as a paintbrush and move them around! Ask the child(ren) what they feel while they’re painting – “Does it feel bumpy when you paint with the wheels of the car?”, “Does it feel smooth when you paint with the wheels of the car?”. Also ask them things such as “What happens if you paint with *this* part of the car?” Moreover, you can also ask the child(ren) “Is there anything in particular you are painting?” It is also a great idea to ask the child(ren) about the colours they may be mixing together – “I see you’re making some new colours on the page! I see you mixed red and yellow together! Can you tell me what colour that makes? What happens if we mix *this colour* with *that colour*?!” See what cool and interesting things the child(ren) create on their page! Be sure to let them have fun and explore new and fascinating things with the paint! 

Description of Activity: use a table to make a small group that make children can paint together. Then introduced to the different tools they could use to make various colored circles. When they are painting, encourage them to try many different things, like if they mix the yellow and red, what color circles will be made? At the same time, make sure every children are be happy in this activity.
