There are several different types of graphic organizers. An example is the Frayer Model, pictured below. Graphic organizers are very helpful because they can be used across all subjects.</div>]]></description>

The teacher calls out the questions and answer choices. Each corner of the room represents an answer choice. Students choose a corner/answer and discuss with their peers. The teacher takes anecdotal notes as students discuss.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students ask and answer a question about what they've learned on a sheet of paper. Divide students into two groups. One group forms the inside circle. The other group forms the outside circle. Students pair up and face each other. Students ask each other their questions. The outer circle rotates. The teacher walks around the room to take anecdotal notes about questions, comments, and conversations.</div>]]></description>

Students rotate and answer each question (either in groups or individually). If students answer in groups, you can track the marker colors for each group.
