         <description><![CDATA[<div>Lines 23 and 27 use rhyme to emphasize the loneliness of the speaker, comparing "sunlight on a column" to voices "more distant and more solemn". The use of this sound creates a deserted place. There is no rhythm but there is also assonance in line 28. "Than a fading star" to add sound and allow the poem to easily flow.</div>]]></description>

This connects in deep way. In the poem, the speaker mourns for his culture to be brought back (lines 19-20).
