We would like to implement ready youth exchange project about migration and active citizenship:

Nowadays, lot of youngsters are leaving their homelands and migrating in another countries or bigger towns for searching better lives without knowing what can be waiting them and most of the cases they get in troubles, getting cultural shock or becoming victims of trafficking. It is hoped to help the participants to find inspiration to stay and find creative solutions for developing their home places and give them the chance to think share the final results of their work with the other participants. We truly believe that there is much hidden in those creative young minds whose opinion is still rather restrained in the public opinion as a whole. This project would be a way to boost youngsters out-of the-box thinking and stepping in to an inter-cultural dialogue with people from other nationalities.
More concretely, the objectives of this Youth Exchange are:
- to raise the awareness about migration
- to raise openness and acceptance toward migration and immigrants
- to raise the awareness of the importance of youth participation in the decision-making process
- to show youngsters opportunities that can be created by them for developing their areas
- to challenge and practice creative thinking
- to use creativity to express their opinions and thoughts
- to foster peer-dialog about matters concerning youth participation in developing processes on local level
- to share knowledge, experiences, strategies, tools and ideas
- to encourage critical and analytical skills
- to acquire and transfer new methods of non-formal education
- to raise cultural awareness, foster inter-cultural dialogue and mutual understanding

Youth exchange will take place from 15th to 21th of September 2021. The duration of the project will be 9 days, so we will have 7 full working days to achieve our goals.

Summary of project: Still we keep the spirit of living up to ‘United in diversity', but the misunderstanding and conflicts damages the societies in
many different ways. Most directly, we mean that a large number of people living in Europe and beyond faces to the
conflicts, affecting their human dignity, life opportunities, prosperity and well-being and often also their personal safety.
Conflicts and difficulties among the countries and nations to neglect each others culture, history, life- failure to uphold
core EU values.
Through this project we want the participants coming from different countries that have difficulties in intercultural dialogue
between themselves to have a platform for an exploring their national identity and finding common criteria between each
other because our social, political and economic strength comes from our unity in diversity – because the conflicts and
discrimination weaken us all and if we`ll add a few doze racism here, which has also been generated and used as a
ground to discriminate during the COVID-19 pandemic is just the most recent case, where blame has been unjustly
directed at people with a minority racial or ethnic background everywhere, moreover, when the quarantine measures
weren`t preventive to avoid the conflicts, misunderstanding, hate speech, braking state borders.
This project action plan sets out a series of youth measures to step up action, to help lift the voices of young people with
a minority racial or ethnic backgrounds, damaged with the conflicts and hate speech to bring together the actors at all
levels in a common endeavor to address to build a life free from racism and discrimination, conflicts for all, reinforce
peace building and peaceful co-existence.
The aim of the project is to empower and equip young leaders and youth workers with negotiation, intercultural
communication, diversity management and conflict resolution skills on personal, interpersonal and organizational level to
contribute to the culture of peace and cooperation. Discuss today’s political confrontations in Europe and neighboring
countries, go deeper to self-assessment, find the details of their cultural belongings and how the cultural and national
identity and pride are reflected in each individual, that`s why we intend to find common values and create negotiation and
dialogue between participants, foster them to emphasize the importance of bilateral and intercultural dialogue and the
importance of gathering to live together, motivate the young individuals to come up with long-lasting project ideas to
undertake in their home countries upon changing attitudes and fostering intercultural dialogue;
Objectives:
• Equip participants with interpersonal communication and negotiation skills;
• Explore tools, approaches and attitudes for effective conflict intervention and resolving seemingly intractable disputes
on all levels (personal, organizational, community and country level);
• Develop and promote intercultural competences and diversity management skills for youth work in multi-cultural
environments with high conflict risks;
• Encourage participants to see the diversity as an opportunity for value creation and cooperation;
• Promote active citizenship and non-violent actions towards peace and democracy;
• Promote the non-formal education approach as a powerful method for the dealing with conflicts;
• Develop and support the initiatives and project ideas, brought from project partner countries, to find the tools and
sources for their realization together;
• Promote EU programs and opportunities for youth;
Through this project we also committed to support the resolution adopted by the European Parliament on Covid-19" -
highlighted the importance of the Charter of Fundamental Rights and the rule of law, especially with the introduction of
emergency measures in response to crisis.
