Washington is a moderately diverse state, with over half of the states population living in the Puget Sound Area, home of the Space Needle and Starbucks Coffee. I grew up in a small agricultural town east of the Cascade mountains, known as Selah. After graduating High School, I moved around a lot living 3 years on the Olympic Peninsula and 4 years in the Seattle area. After relocating to Utah, I have seen how much the culture of Washington state has shaped me into who I am. It was one of the most liberating moments in my life and completely changed me for the better. After coming out, I have received a lot of support through LGBTQ+ networks. Listening to music allows me to reconnect to my inner self, emotions, others, and the artist. I love listening and appreciating music from other countries. It allows me to learn more about that countries culture through music and improve my listening skills towards different languages. Foreign music ignites the curiosity to learn about the artists country.
